A loft conversion created in Camelford, Cornwall. Covered scaffolding was used to “weather proof” the construction (Cornish winters !!) and allow the removal of the existing roof despite the construction taking place in Winter. Once the existing roof had been removed, then a new wall, floor and roof timbers could be added to create the additional floor desired. An inbuilt staircase was also constructed and installed as part of the project. The building was then cladded with wood-effect, blue cladding, and slated with Brazilian slate.
